The next generation of small government revolutionaries is here.
In this edition of Faces of Intrepidity, a series where America Mission™ explores the brave and dauntless figures that the culture war has to offer, we’re profiling Vivek Ramaswamy. He’s an American entrepreneur, bestselling author, and political commentator. His political journey has rapidly evolved since the reelection of President Donald Trump. Soon Vivek Ramaswamy will play a big part in the federal government’s restructuring with the help of a wealthy familiar face.
Vivek was born in 1985 in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Indian immigrant parents from Kerala, a state on India’s tropical Malabar Coast. He graduated with a degree in Biology from Harvard in 2007. Ramaswamy became co-founder and President of Campus Venture Network, a student activist organization doing business as StudentBusinesses.com; the organization was acquired by the Kauffman Foundation in 2009.
Years later, Vivek received his J.D. from Yale Law School in 2013. While there, Vivek befriended fellow Ohio native and future U.S. Vice President-elect, Senator JD Vance. Check out Vance’s FoI below for more info on him.
Ramaswamy started Roivant Sciences, a biotech company, in 2014. He oversaw the development of five drugs that became FDA-approved. Between 2015 and 2016, Ramaswamy led Roivant through its largest biotech IPOs. In 2020, he significantly increased his wealth after Roivant Sciences engaged in a $3 billion transaction with Sumitomo Dainippon, a Japanese pharma company.
While in college, Ramaswamy interned for the hedge fund Amaranth Advisors and the investment bank Goldman Sachs. The same year he graduated from Harvard, Vivek worked at QVT Financial, a hedge fund where he specialized in pharmaceutical investments and became a partner.
A year after Ramaswamy stepped down as Roivant’s CEO in 2021 to focus on other ventures.
Ramaswamy is a New York Times bestselling author for writing at least two anti-woke books. In 2021, he wrote Woke, Inc.: Inside Corporate America’s Social Justice Scam. He wrote his second book, Nation of Victims: Identity Politics, the Death of Merit, and the Path Back to Excellence, in 2022. His third book, Capitalist Punishment: How Wall Street is Using Your Money to Create a Country You Didn’t Vote For, was written in 2023.
Ramaswamy’s LinkedIn bio proudly proclaims that “left leaning media has called him one of the “intellectual godfathers of the anti-woke movement” (Politico) and the “right’s leading anti-ESG crusader” (Axios and Bloomberg). He was dubbed “The C.E.O. of Anti-Woke,” by The New Yorker.”
Vivek founded Strive, an asset management firm, in 2021. It competes with asset managers like BlackRock, State Street, Vanguard, and others, who “use the money of everyday citizens to advance environmental and social agendas that many citizens and capital owners disagree with.”
BlackRock Chairman and CEO Larry Fink is a World Economic Forum board of trustees member. The WEF, a globalist think tank, promotes chairman Klaus Schwaub’s anti-liberty and anti-American agenda of stakeholder capitalism. His preferred economic system injects ESG and other woke activism into broader Western culture. As such, Vivek, a vocal critic of ESG, is a natural adversary of Klaus Schwaub and his WEF cronies. After the WEF tried to associate themselves with Ramaswamy by adding him to their website without his permission, he hit back with a lawsuit.
Last year, Vivek announced that he’d be running for president. Ramaswamy’s debate performances and podcast appearances during the primaries impressed many people within the Republican Party and attracted the attention of some important people.
After Vivek dropped out of the race and endorsed Trump, people were excited at the possibility of Vivek serving in Trump’s administration. Trump graciously accepted the endorsement and confirmed Vivek’s future presence on his team.
After Biden referred to Trump supporters as garbage, both Trump and Ramaswamy jumped in garbage trucks while wearing safety vests in response. These moves helped ingratiate the MAGA movement further with America’s working class.
As the MAGA movement matures, America Mission™ has had the opportunity to meet and collaborate with RFK Jr. and Vivek Ramaswamy supporters as part of the MAGA coalition going into the White House in January.
One such group of supporters includes @Bulldogs4Vivek, which according to their 𝕏 about page, is “an intimate group of bilingual small business owners in South Florida, Middle Tennessee and the Bay Area of former sports and lifestyle entertainment cable media marketing, communications and LIVE event executive producers as well as real estate developers, and digital commerce experts.” Though not directly affiliated with the Vivek team, Bulldogs4Vivek volunteer their extra free time to voice their political views and support @VivekGRamaswamy’s America First vision.
For this edition of FoI, America Mission™ sat down with Patrick Ilabaca, co-founder of Bulldogs4Vivek. We spoke about the organization, their views, and their experiences with Vivek Ramaswamy’s team. Bulldogs4Vivek has “strong libertarian tendencies” and supports Vivek Ramaswamy for President one day, as well as President Donald J. Trump.
Patrick provided Bulldogs4Vivek’s debut 𝕏 article to help explain their views on the current state of American politics. Inspired by the RealCoffeeWithScottAdams podcast, the article describes America as being in the midst of a 1776 moment, complete with the “Re-Founding Fathers of 2024”. It draws comparisons between President George Washington and President Donald Trump, Vivek Ramaswamy and President Thomas Jefferson, and Elon Musk and Benjamin Franklin.
Patrick shares a similar background with Vivek.
Both come from a family of immigrants, are successful entrepreneurs, and avid tennis players. Patrick’s grandmother was a mayor of Providencia, a district outside of Santiago, Chile’s capital city and his uncle was a diplomat for the nation.
After discovering Ramaswamy’s presidential campaign, he was hooked, binge-watching his podcast appearances and public speaking engagements. Soon thereafter, he gained the inspiration to create Bulldogs4Vivek.
Vivek was one of the first presidential candidates to embrace livestreaming on 𝕏. By engaging with Vivek’s content, Bulldogs4Vivek attracted the attention of his digital team, connecting with their director, producer, and an intern to talk about digital media strategy. Moreover, Patrick interviewed Tricia McLaughlin, Vivek’s executive communications director.
Bulldogs4Vivek’s ultimate goal was to get Vivek elected. Now that the election is over and Vivek will play a part in promoting President-elect Trump’s administrative agenda. Patrick and Bulldogs4Vivek are turning their attention to bigger and better things.
Despite not being directly affiliated with Vivek Ramaswamy’s team, Patrick wants to continue advocating for Vivek’s policies and growing Bulldogs4Vivek. Further, he wants to broaden their presence with the MAGA and MAHA folks to help strengthen the digital coalition that’s forming. Like America Mission™, he believes that will be essential for success in the upcoming years.
As of this year, they administrate the Team Bulldogs4Vivek Task Force Community. Their mission is “revolutionizing 𝕏 Communities to create the first LIVE 24/7 Community platform, like cable television.” Patrick and Bulldogs4Vivek have inspired America Mission™ to expand the America Mission™ 𝕏 Community, so check that out for more MAGA content.
Nearly a week ago, President-elect Donald Trump announced that Ramaswamy would be working with Elon Musk to lead the Department of Government Efficiency (“DOGE”). President Trump described that DOGE “will become, potentially, ‘The Manhattan Project’ of our time”.
People across 𝕏 are gleefully pointing out how the deep state wastes our dollars. Rest assured, Vivek and Elon are taking notice.
Ramaswamy and Musk are recruiting people for DOGE and laying out the organization’s foundation. At the time of writing this article, the official DOGE 𝕏 account is nearing 2 million followers.
Drawing from his libertarian college days and his admiration for Argentine President Javier Milei, Ramaswamy promotes national libertarianism. This political ideology aims to protect Westphalian sovereignty from globalist influence while promoting non-interventionism and free-market economics. This will likely be the core philosophy behind Ramaswamy’s leadership style at the upcoming DOGE.
The cultural effects of D.O.G.E have become far-reaching.
Trump, Vivek, Elon, and others from Team Trump have been making plenty of public appearances. Recently, they made a special guest entrance at the UFC.
Are they basking in the glory of victory, getting into the right mindset for one hell of a fight against the DC Swamp, or a bit of both? You be the judge. For more info on President-elect Trump, Elon, Tulsi, and RFK Jr in attendance, check out their editions of FoI down below.
Trump won the election in a landslide, but the work is far from over! Vivek Ramaswamy and the rest of Team Trump are preparing for a hell of a fight against the deep state. The first day of their trial by fire begins on January 20th, 2025, Inauguration Day.
