Dr. Fauci, the Deep State Doctor Bailed Out By Biden

Fauci FOT

This career bureaucrat was Big Pharma’s strongest spokesman for decades.

Anthony Fauci…

is an American doctor, scientist, and former bureaucrat who spent over 50 years in public service. He advised seven presidents across the decades, from the 80s until just a few years ago.

The Early Days

Fauci was born in 1940, in Brooklyn, New York.

After graduating high school in 1958, Fauci enrolled in the College of the Holy Cross and studied classical Greek.

He graduated from Holy Cross in 1962 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in classics with a pre-medicine track.

Fauci graduated from Cornell University’s Medical College with a Doctor of Medicine degree in 1966.

Afterward, he did an internship and residency in internal medicine at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center.

The Deep State Doctor

Fauci joined the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in 1968.

He was a clinical associate in the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases’s (NIAID) Laboratory of Clinical Investigation (LCI).

In 1974, he became head of the LCI’s Clinical Physiology Section and the Deputy Clinical Director at the NIAID in 1977.

Fauci was appointed chief of the NIAID’s Laboratory of Immunoregulation in 1980.

The AIDS epidemic

Fauci and his team began research on HIV/AIDS in 1981 under President Ronald Reagan.

He became director of the NIAID in 1984 and declined offers to be the NIH director more than once.

1985 marked significant contributions to AIDS research, including Fauci’s involvement in the development of treatments for AIDS.

In the late 80s to early 90s, protesters came to the NIAID, blaming Fauci for a slow government response to the AIDS crisis.

After that, he started engaging more openly with activists under President George H.W. Bush, President Bill Clinton, and President George W. Bush.

In 2003, Fauci was the co-architect of the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), significantly impacting global AIDS treatment and prevention.

He received the Presidential Medal of Freedom from President George W. Bush in 2008 for his AIDS work.

swine flu

In 2009, under President Obama, Fauci was involved in the American response to the swine flu (H1N1) outbreak in West Africa.

The outbreak was first detected in the United States in April 2009 and quickly spread globally.

The World Health Organization (WHO) declared it a pandemic in June.

By late September, Fauci played a key role in the rapid development and distribution of the H1N1 vaccine.

Around this time, Fauci would cross paths with Peter Daszak, a key leader of EcoHealth Alliance (formerly Wildlife Trust), a global scientific research nonprofit.

Ebola

In 2014, Fauci was involved in the American response to the Ebola outbreak in West Africa.

Under his leadership at NIAID, significant efforts were directed towards understanding Ebola better.

NIAID had been researching Ebola for years, but this outbreak spurred Fauci to accelerate a vaccine push.

Fauci was a key figure in advocating for and supporting the rVSV-ZEBOV vaccine trials.

He shaped the U.S. public health strategy, which involved international aid, emphasizing the need for global health security.

Fauci’s NIAID awarded grants to EcoHealth Alliance for research purposes.

Under Fauci’s direction, the NIAID awarded a nearly $4 million grant to EcoHealth Alliance for the project “Understanding the Risk of Bat Coronavirus Emergence” in 2014.

This gain-of-function research project included collaboration with China’s Wuhan Institute for Virology (WIV).

Emails in 2016 between NIH officials and Daszak show discussions about how to describe research activities to avoid triggering additional oversight for gain-of-function research.

COVID-19

Trump

In January 2020, the White House Coronavirus Task Force was established under President Donald Trump.

Fauci was a member of the task force. Their job was to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic that originated in Wuhan, China.

In the beginning, Fauci said COVID-19 was not a “major threat” and that the risk to the American public was “low”, but that it was “an evolving situation”.

Public health officials needed to take COVID-19 “very seriously”, he added.

Fauci became a de facto public health spokesperson for President Trump’s office, pushing hard for social distancing, masking, and vaccination.

Over time, President Trump challenged Fauci’s statements and their relationship would sour.

Biden

After President Trump left office, Fauci would work for President Biden as his Chief Medical Advisor.

There have been concerns about oversight and transparency regarding how EcoHealth managed NIH grants, particularly after the grant was paused in 2020 due to concerns over compliance with grant terms.

Daszak was part of a group of scientists who published a letter in The Lancet in 2020 dismissing the lab leak hypothesis for the origin of SARS-CoV-2, without disclosing his ties to the WIV through EcoHealth.

This led to inquiries into the relationship between NIH, EcoHealth, WIV, and the nature of the research being funded.

Emails between Fauci, Daszak, and others, revealed through FOIA requests, showed discussions about the virus’s origins.

Daszak thanked Fauci for supporting the natural origin theory of SARS-CoV-2, the virus causing COVID-19, in public statements and emails.

Both Fauci and Daszak have been subjects of Congressional and media scrutiny, especially after the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic began investigating the origins of COVID-19.

This included looking into EcoHealth’s activities, NIH’s oversight, and Fauci’s involvement.

Fauci said he would resign if Donald Trump won the 2024 presidential election, in a May 2022 CNN interview with Jim Acosta.

He was reported to be “leaving by the end of President Joe Biden’s term” in a 2022 Politico interview.

In August 2022, Fauci announced that he would step down as NIAID director in December, resigning in late December.

Georgetown University announced that Fauci would join its faculty as a distinguished professor in 2023.

He taught in the School of Medicine and McCourt School of Public Policy.

Last year, Senator Rand Paul called for Fauci to be jailed for his COVID work and animal testing on beagle puppies.

Fauci continues to say “trust the science”, despite the dangerous science he partook in.

In January of this year, EcoHealth Alliance terminated Peter Daszak’s employment.

After an investigation by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), EcoHealth Alliance and Peter Daszak were formally debarred from receiving U.S. government grants, highlighting issues with their compliance and the nature of their research.

The CIA is reportedly now favoring lab leak theory.

Biden’s Pardon

On Biden’s final day in office and the eve of President Donald Trump’s inauguration, he granted Fauci a full and unconditional pardon. The pardon dates back to 2014.

The preemptive pardon has had a negative reception.

Trump’s Back

Back in the White House, President Trump stripped Fauci of his federal security detail a few days ago.

He is joining a growing list of former bureaucrats in the same boat, like Mike Pompeo and John Bolton.

Trump said he wouldn’t feel responsible if something bad happened to the former government officials, as he spoke to reporters in North Carolina.

“They all made a lot of money. They can hire their own security, too.”, Trump said when asked about the decision.

Senator Paul has renewed his call for further investigations into Fauci.

Fauci has hired a private security detail.

On to the next one

As the curtain falls on Dr. Anthony Fauci’s career, we part ways with the man who became the human embodiment of “trust the science” — until the science became a bit too complicated for comfort.

From HIV/AIDS to Ebola, from Swine Flu to COVID, he’s been center stage on infectious disease for decades.

Fauci’s ties with EcoHealth and Peter Daszak dipped into the murky waters of gain-of-function research and exposed the medical industry’s corruption.
